Jaipur 3R and Circular Economy Declaration
On 5th March 2025, countries in Asia and the Pacific committed to transitioning to a circular economy by 2035 under the Jaipur 3R and Circular Economy Declaration (2025–2035), adopted at the 12th Regional 3R and Circular Economy Forum in Jaipur, India.
Key Emphases of the Declaration
- Promotes sustainable resource management through Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (3R) principles.
- Aims for a low-carbon, resource-efficient, and resilient economy by 2035.
- Recognizes the economic, social, and environmental benefits of circular practices.
