Consumer Justice Report 2026
On 18th March 2026, the India Justice Report (IJR) released the Consumer Justice Report 2026.
What is Consumer Justice Report?
- It is the first comprehensive study assessing the institutional capacity of India’s consumer dispute redressal system at state and district levels.
- Using public data from Right to Information requests and parliamentary responses, it evaluates state performance in terms of budgets, infrastructure, human resources, workload, and diversity under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- The report also analyses 28.57 lakh consumer dispute cases from 2010 to 2024 via the CONFONET 2.0 (now e-JAGRITI) dashboard, examining sectoral trends and patterns in case disposal and ....
