Government Launches New Initiatives for Orange Economy
On 23rd March 2026, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting launched three key initiatives to strengthen India’s Orange Economy and enhance access to digital technology.
About 3 Initiatives
1.National AI Skilling Initiative
- This initiative is a public-private partnership with Google and YouTube, targeting the training of 15,000 professionals in the animation, visual effects, gaming, comics (AVGC) sector through the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies, Mumbai.
- Phase I (March-June 2026) focuses on foundational AI learning through Google Career Certificates and Google Cloud Generative AI pathways, including prompting and AI leadership.
