India-Finland Strategic Partnership in Digitalisation and Sustainability
During the visit of Finnish President Alexander Stubb to India (4-7 March 2026), India and Finland agreed to elevate bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership in Digitalisation and Sustainability.
Outcomes/MoUs Signed
- MoU on Migration and Mobility Partnership: Enables movement of professionals and facilitates talent exchange.
- Renewal of MoU on Environmental Cooperation: Covers bioenergy, waste-to-energy, green hydrogen, wind, solar, and small hydro.
- MoU on Cooperation in Statistics: Focuses on sharing best practices and collaboration in official statistics.

- Establishment of Joint Working Group on Digitalisation (5G, 6G, quantum communications, AI, high-performance computing).
