Integrated Aqua Park
- On 14th March 2026, the government announced the sanction of a Rs.100 crore Integrated Aqua Park project in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.
- It was announced during the National Conference on Cold Water Fisheries in Srinagar.
- The conference was held at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre.
- The project aims to strengthen aquaculture infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir.
- It will promote development of cold-water fisheries in the region.
- The initiative is expected to increase fish production and generate employment opportunities.
- The minister released Model Guidelines for Development of Cold-Water Fisheries.
- The guidelines promote sustainable and scientific fisheries ....
