World Happiness Report 2026
On 19th March 2026, the World Happiness Report 2026 was released by the Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford, in collaboration with Gallup, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, and an independent editorial board.
About World Happiness Report
- It is an annual report which provides an insight into the global picture of social media and happiness.
- It asks people to rate their life on a 0-10 scale, from the worst possible life (0) to the best possible life (10).
- Factors for evaluation of happiness ranking:
- GDP per capita,
- Life expectancy,
- Social support,
- Freedom to make life choices,
- Generosity,
- Perceptions of corruption.
