On 11th September, 2024, NITI Aayog released an Expert Group report, titled “Future Pandemic Preparedness and Emergency Response: A Framework for Action.”
About the Report
- The four-member group was constituted to prepare a framework for action for future pandemic preparedness and emergency response, in the aftermath of COVID-19.
- The primary focus of the report is to provide a blueprint for the country to prepare for any future public health emergency or pandemic and to have a rapid response system in place.
