India’s First PM MITRA Park
On 17th September 2025, Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of the country’s largest PM MITRA Park at Bhainsola village, Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh.
Objective
- Establish an integrated, modern, large-scale industrial park; reduce logistic costs and enhance competitiveness
Implementing Agency
- Joint Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Central and State Governments
Expected Impact
- Employment: The Dhar PM MITRA Park is projected to generate over 3 lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities.
- This massive job creation will particularly benefit tribal workers from Dhar, Jhabua, Alirajpur, and Barwani districts, with special priority given to local communities and skilled women workers.
