India’s First ‘Swastik Lotus Garden’
- On 15 September 2025, Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurated India’s first swastika-shaped Lotus Garden at the CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) in Lucknow.
- The newly developed Swastik Lotus Garden, spread over 930 square meters, is the first of its kind in the country.
- It houses 60 varieties of lotus and 50 varieties of water lilies brought from around the world.
- Its main attraction is the world’s first 108-petaled lotus, developed in Lucknow, named NBRI-NAMOH ....
