Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana

  • On 26 September 2025, the Prime Minister launched Bihar’s Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana.
  • Earlier, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched an official portal for this scheme.
  • Under the scheme, one woman from each family will receive ₹10,000 as the first instalment to start an income-generating activity, followed by additional assistance of up to ₹2 lakh.
