Germany Joins US-Led UN Command in South Korea
On 2nd August 2024, Germany became the 18th member of the United Nations Command (UNC) in South Korea, marking a significant expansion of the coalition that monitors the border with North Korea and commits to defending South Korea in times of conflict.
