​Impact Assessment of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana

On 9th August, 2024, NITI Aayog released a research study on impact assessment of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY).

  • The impact assessment analysed the performance and contribution of the scheme towards the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and particularly the Micro Enterprises.

Major Findings from Analysis of PMMY Scheme

Coverage

  • Since the launch in 2015, the scheme has reached out to 34.93 crore Micro and Small Entrepreneur Accounts and provided credit support amounting to approximately INR 18.39 lakh crore.
