​One District One University Plan

  • Recently, the UP government has launched an ambitious One District, One University plan.
  • Uttar Pradesh has universities in all 18 divisions of the state, and the state government wants to establish a university in all 75 districts.
  • Maharaja Suheldev University in Azamgarh, Raja Mahendradev University in Aligarh, and Maa Shakumbhari Devi University in Saharanpur have already become operational.
