3rd Edition of India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR)

On 13th August 2025, India and Singapore broadly finalised around 10 agreements during the third India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR) in New Delhi.

Agreement Details

  • Broad-Based Cooperation Finalised: About 10 agreements were worked out covering advanced technology, connectivity, skilling, digitalisation, healthcare, and sustainability.
  • Undersea Solar Cable Proposal: Both sides discussed an ambitious project to lay an undersea cable to transmit solar energy from India to Singapore, which would also provide data connectivity.
  • Business and Government Synergy: The ISMR also engaged with the India-Singapore Business Roundtable to align industry and government efforts.
