From 25th till 28th August 2025, Chief of the Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, was on an official visit to Algeria—his first overseas tour following the successful Operation Sindoor. The visit highlights the Indian Army’s growing role in strengthening New Delhi’s strategic partnerships abroad.
