Nari Adalat: Women Empowerment Through Local Justice
On 10th August 2025, Sikkim Chief Minister inaugurated ‘Nari Adalat’ at Rangpo, marking the state’s first Amma Samman Diwas.
- This women-led community forum aims to provide accessible and informal justice, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas of Sikkim.
- The initiative is part of the “Sambal” sub-scheme under Mission Shakti, a programme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
