India's First International Bullion Exchange
On 29th July, 2022, the Central government launched India's first international bullion exchange - India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX).
- The bullion exchange was launched at the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
- The exchange will be the Gateway for Bullion Imports into India, wherein all the bullion imports for domestic consumption shall be channelized through the exchange.
