Idol of Uma-Maheshwara
- On 30th July, 2023, in the 103rd edition of his monthly radio address, Prime Minister mentioned about an idol of Uma-Maheshwara in Lalitasan from the 11th century, in which both are seated on Nandi, has been returned to India from USA.
- Uma-Maheshwara refers to one of the forms of Siva and Parvati. Goddess Parvati is seated on the left thigh of Siva. Lower Left hand of the Siva is stretched over and holding Parvati’s waist.
