On 18th July, 2023, United Nations (UN) released a report on gender parity at the Women Deliver Conference held in Kigali, Rwanda under the title- ‘The Paths to Equal: Twin indices on Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality’.

About the Report

  • This first-of-its-kind report presents a comprehensive analysis of the progress made in human development of women and girls.
  • It was jointly created by two UN agencies – UN Women and UN Development Programme.
