Bangladesh Joins Colombo Security Conclave
On 10th July, 2024, Bangladesh was officially inducted into the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC), expanding the regional security grouping to include five member states.
- Bangladesh has been officially welcomed as the fifth member of the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC), joining India, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, and the Maldives.
- The virtual 8th Deputy National Security Adviser (DNSA) level meeting, hosted by Mauritius, marked the formal inclusion of Bangladesh into the CSC.
- Seychelles participated as an Observer State in the virtual meeting where Bangladesh's membership was confirmed.
