Bannerghatta Biological Park
- On 26th June, 2024, South India's first and the country's largest leopard safari was inaugurated at Bannerghatta Biological Park (BBP).
- The safari area covers 20 hectares and currently houses eight leopards in an open forest setting, following Central Zoo Authority guidelines.
- The park receives rescued leopard cubs due to rising human-animal conflicts; these cubs are raised and introduced into the safari to educate visitors.
