AI in Traditional Medicine: Bridging Ancient Knowledge with Modern Science
On 12th July 2025, the World Health Organization (WHO) acknowledged India’s pioneering efforts in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) with traditional medicine (TM) systems, particularly Ayush systems.
- The recognition comes after India’s proposal on the subject, leading to the development of WHO’s first-ever roadmap for applying AI in traditional medicine.
