Golden Visa Scheme
On 8th July 2025, the UAE government dismissed media reports claiming the introduction of a new golden visa programme exclusively for residents of India and Bangladesh, offering lifetime residency for AED 100,000 (approx Rs. 23.3 lakh).
- Golden visas are long-term residency permits granted to individuals who make substantial investments in a country’s economy, bypassing traditional immigration criteria like job offers or educational qualifications.
- The UAE golden visa allows foreign nationals to reside, work, and study in the country for 5 or 10 years without requiring a local sponsor.
