India–Argentina: Advancing Strategic Partnership
On 5th July 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Argentina, marking the first bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in 57 years, signalling India’s intention to deepen ties beyond multilateral forums like the G20.
- The visit coincided with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties and five years of the Strategic Partnership established in 2019.
