Kashi Declaration

The Youth Spiritual Summit in Varanasi (held on 18–20 July 2025) launched a youth-led movement against drug abuse through the “Kashi Declaration.”

  • Theme: "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat".
  • Aim: The core aim is to help youth break free from addiction and strengthen their role in nation-building.
  • Organised by: The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
  • Four Focused Thematic Sessions: The two-day summit included four focused thematic sessions:
    1. Understanding youth addiction and its consequences
    2. Combating drug networks and commercial interests
    3. Designing impactful outreach and awareness campaigns
    4. Sustaining long-term commitment to a drug-free India
