PM-VIKAS Skill Development and Women Entrepreneurship Programme
On 17th July 2025, Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs inaugurated the PM-VIKAS Skill Development and Women Entrepreneurship Programme at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam.
- The programme is a part of the Union Government’s Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM-VIKAS) scheme, which focuses on empowering minority communities through skill-based training and entrepreneurship development.
Aim
- To build the capabilities of youth and women from minority communities in Kerala, enabling them to actively participate in the digital economy and contribute to local and national development.
