Small and Medium Real Estate Investment Trust
On 18th July 2025, Aurum PropTech became the first public listed company in India to receive a registration certificate from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as a Small and Medium Real Estate Investment Trust (SM REIT) under the name AMSA SM REIT Investment Trust (AMSA).
What are SM REITs?
SM REITs are defined as trusts that pool fund from at least 200 investors, with a minimum asset size of Rs.50 crore and a maximum of Rs. 500 crore per scheme.
