Pulmonary and Extrapulmonary TB (Pott's Disease)

Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB affecting the lungs is called 'Pulmonary.' When it spreads to other organs outside the lungs, it is termed 'Extrapulmonary TB.' TB of the spine is specifically known as 'Pott's Disease.'
