PM Launches Development Projects
On 4th July 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated, inaugurated, and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth aroundRs.1.06 lakh crore in Balotra, Rajasthan.
- The projects span the energy, aviation, railways, roads, metro, and water sectors, aimed at improving infrastructure, connectivity, employment, and ease of living.
- The Prime Minister dedicated the Rajasthan Refinery to the nation, describing it as a major step towards strengthening India's energy security and self-reliance.
- The foundation stone for Jaipur Metro Phase-II was laid, which will expand Jaipur's metro network to over 50 km by connecting the east-west and north-south corridors.
