Saushrutam 2026
The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), under the Ministry of Ayush, organised the three-day international seminar "Saushrutam 2026" from 15-17 July 2026.
- The seminar aimed to celebrate the surgical legacy of Acharya Sushruta and promote evidence-based advancements in Ayurvedic surgery.
Key Highlights
- Provided a global platform for scientific dialogue on Ayurvedic surgery, technological innovations, and evidence-based clinical practices.
- Promoted collaboration between Ayurveda and modern surgical sciences to strengthen research, innovation, and surgical education.
- Renewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AIIA and IIT Delhi for another five years to enhance collaborative research and innovation.
