TribeX: Digital Learning Platform for Tribal Arts, Culture and Traditional Knowledge
On 7th July 2026, in a landmark initiative to digitally transform tribal education and preserve India's rich traditional heritage, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs launched TribeX in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.
What is TribeX?
- Knowledge Repository: It is a comprehensive digital learning platform and knowledge repository to preserve, document and promote India's rich tribal heritage.
- Open-access Ecosystem: It serves as an open-access ecosystem where students, researchers, educators and cultural enthusiasts can learn directly from master tribal artisans and indigenous knowledge holders.
