India-Greece Sign Defence Cooperation Pact
On 9th February 2026, India and Greece signed a Joint Declaration of Intent on Defence Industrial Cooperation.
What is the Joint Declaration India and Greece signed?
- An International Liaison Officer will be stationed at the Information Fusion Centre - Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR), Gurugram to boost maritime coordination.
- Both sides exchanged a Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2026 to guide defence interactions.
- The declaration lays groundwork for a five-year defence cooperation roadmap, aligned with India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Greece’s Agenda 2030 defence reforms.
