Quad Foreign Ministers Meeting
On 22nd July 2026, the Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting was held in Manila, Philippines, where India, the United States, Australia, and Japan reaffirmed their commitment to a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific while supporting ASEAN's unity and centrality.
- The Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to a free, open, inclusive, and rules-based Indo-Pacific based on the principles of rule of law, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
- They expressed strong support for ASEAN's unity and centrality and agreed to strengthen cooperation with ASEAN member states.
- The Quad agreed to support the implementation of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP).
