Space Docking Experiment
- Two 400 kg satellites were handed over by Hyderabad-based Ananth Technologies (ATL) to ISRO for a Space Docking Experiment planned for later this year, as part of the PSLV-C60 mission scheduled for December.
- The mission is considered a key stepping stone for ISRO’s future projects, including the Indian space station and Chandrayaan-4 lunar mission, which aims to return lunar rock and soil samples to Earth.
- The PSLV rocket for this mission is being constructed at ATL’s Thiruvananthapuram facility, marking an important milestone for private sector involvement in India’s space sector.
