India, US Hail Progress on New Trade Deal

  • On 21st April 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US Vice President J D Vance met in New Delhi to celebrate progress on a "new and modern" India-US Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA).
  • The BTA aims to promote job creation, citizen well-being, and balanced growth opportunities for workers, farmers, and entrepreneurs in both countries.
