Index of Industrial Production (IIP)

  • On 17th April 2025, the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation announced that IIP will now be released on 28th of every month reducing its release timeline from 42 days to 28 days.
  • IIP is an indicator that measures the changes in the volume of production of industrial products during a given period.
  • It is compiled and published monthly by the National Statistical Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
  • Base Year for IIP is 2011-2012.
