Google’s AI Opens a New Door in Cancer Drug Discovery

On 15th October 2025, Google has unveiled a powerful Artificial Intelligence system that proposed a new and effective drug combination for detecting hidden cancer cells — something even human researchers had not discovered before.

Cell2Sentence-Scale 27B (C2S-Scale)

  • Cell2Sentence-Scale 27B, or C2S-Scale, is a large AI model built by Google DeepMind and Google Research.
  • It has 27 billion parameters, which means it can analyse massive amounts of biological and chemical data at a cellular level.
