India Abstained on UNGA Climate Resolution

On 20th May 2026, India abstained from voting on a United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) resolution related to climate change obligations, stating that the resolution undermined the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
