51st G7 Summit 2025
The 51st Group of Seven Summit was held in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada (16–17 June 2025).
- The G7 is an informal grouping of advanced economies including the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Canada, with the European Union as a participant.
- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the outreach session, marking his first visit to Canada since 2015.
- India has been invited to G7 outreach sessions multiple times, reflecting its growing global importance.
