The India AI Impact Summit 2026, held from 16–21 February 2026, marked a significant milestone in the global artificial intelligence landscape
- Hosted by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), it is the first global AI summit hosted in the Global South.
- It focuses on inclusive, responsible AI and global cooperation.

- People: AI must be human-centric, protect dignity, ensure inclusiveness and build trust.
- Planet: AI should support environmental sustainability and reduce resource use.
- Progress: AI should promote inclusive economic growth and social development in sectors like health, education and agriculture.
