Successful Test of ‘Akash Prime’
On July 16, 2025, India successfully tested the advanced version of the Akash weapon system, named ‘Akash Prime’, for the Indian Army in the high-altitude areas of Ladakh.
- In the test, two high-speed unmanned aerial targets were accurately destroyed, marking a significant achievement in India’s indigenous defence capabilities.
