Architectural Significance of the Solanki Era

  • Built in 1026-27 CE by King Bhimdev I, the temple represents the pinnacle of Maru-Gurjara architectural style.
  • The complex includes the Guda Mandap, the Sabha Mandap, and the elaborate Surya Kund stepped water tank.
