Vikram-I
In November, 2025 Vikram-I, publicly unveiled by PM Narendra Modi at Skyroot Aerospace’s Infinity Campus, marking a defining moment for India’s space future.
- Vikram-I is a small-satellite launch vehicle developed by Skyroot Aerospace (Hyderabad) for on-demand orbital launches. It is designed to place up to 350 kg in Low Earth Orbit and up to 260 kg in Sun-synchronous Orbit.
- The vehicle is relevant because modern commercial space demand is shifting toward small satellites, rideshare launches, and custom orbital deployment.
- Vikram-I is built for dedicated as well as rideshare missions, making multi-payload deployment a key feature.
