Nai Roshni Scheme
During the last three years, i.e., 2018-19 to 2020-21, funds to the tune of Rs. 26 crores have been sanctioned under the scheme through which around one Lakh women have been trained.
About Nai Roshni Scheme
- Launched in 2012-13, it is a welfare scheme for the development of minority women in order to inculcate confidence and empower them by providing knowledge and techniques.
- The overall objective of the scheme is to embolden the minority women to move out of the confines of their homes and community and assume leadership roles in society.
