A Tiny Fish Loud as a Gunshot
- Danionella cerebrum, a fish species found in river streams flowing down the southern and eastern slopes of the Bago Yoma Range in central Myanmar, is capable of producing a sound as loud as a gunshot.
- It was discovered in 2021 in an irrigation canal flowing from the Bago Yoma mountain range, northwest of Yangon.
