On 17th June 2025, the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada, concluded without major consensus on top global issues like Ukraine and the Middle East, after U.S. President Donald Trump left early amid rising Israel-Iran tensions.
What was Canada’s focus as G7 host?

- Securing critical minerals supply chains
- Advancing AI and quantum innovation
- Combating wildfires, foreign interference, and transnational crime
- Canada also announced:
