Turquoise Nexus Initiative (TNI)
On 17th June 2026, ahead of COP31, Türkiye's Presidency and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) unveiled the Turquoise Nexus Initiative (TNI) to integrate food security, water management and climate adaptation into national climate action plans.

- About: A joint initiative of Türkiye's COP31 Presidency and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
- Aim: To integrate food security, water management and climate adaptation into national climate commitments.
- Focus: Focuses particularly on supporting developing countries in strengthening climate resilience.
