Wildlife Week 2025
Recently, Wildlife Week 2025 (2-8 October 2025) themed ‘Human-Wildlife Coexistence’ was celebrated in Dehradun by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change with participation from various institutions.
- During the event, 5 national level projects were launched: Project Dolphin (Phase-II), Project Sloth Bear, Project Gharial, Centre of Excellence for Human–Wildlife Conflict Management (CoE-HWC) at SACON, and Tigers Outside Tiger Reserve for species conservation and conflict management.
