National Hub for Quantum Communication Launched
On 10th December, 2025, Department of Science and Technology (DST) virtually inaugurated India’s national hub for Quantum Communication, the IITM C-DOT Samgnya Technologies Foundation.
- The hub has been established under the National Quantum Mission and is located at the IIT Madras Research Park.
- The foundation will lead India’s efforts in quantum-secure communication technologies, national-scale testbeds, and pilot deployments.
- Key focus areas include quantum cryptography, post-quantum security, quantum key distribution (QKD) networks, quantum memory and repeaters, and satellite-based quantum ....
