India's CAGR: According to the 'State of the Fintech Union 2022' report by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Matrix Partners India, India's CAGR in the fintech industry was 20%, which was greater than the US, the UK, and China, which saw CAGRs of 16%, 15%, and 10%, respectively.

Indian Fintech Companies: With 7,460 fintech companies, India is behind the United States (22,290 fintech companies) and China (8,870).

India’s Tele-density: Currently, India has a tele-density of nearly 834 million internet users.

  • Similarly, BHIM UPI clocked over 3.2 billion transactions in July 2021, marking a game-changing penetration of digital payments in India.
